Wheezing Sound Introduction
A
wheezing sound
with a musical quality. They can be low or high-pitched. High-pitched wheezes have a whistling or squeezing sound. Lower pitched wheezes, sometimes called rhonchi, have a snoring our gurgling quality. Wheezes can occur during inspiration or expiration. A wheezing cough is another form of a wheezing sound.
